This policy applies to the website magnariva.com. We do not yet sell products online; an online shop and its related processing (orders, payments, delivery) will be added to this policy before any sales begin.

What We Collect and Why

We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Your email address, when you join our waitlist. We use it only to let you know when our first collection launches and to send occasional updates about Magna Riva. Legal basis: your consent.
• Usage and device data through analytics (for example pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type), but only if you accept analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent.
• Technical connection data, such as your IP address and request details, which our hosting provider processes automatically to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a safe, reliable website.
• Your country, derived from your IP address, so we can show the cookie consent banner where it is required. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in complying with data protection rules.
• Your preferences, such as light or dark mode, language, and your cookie choice, stored locally in your browser. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in remembering your settings.

Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use any non essential cookies unless you accept them. Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept on the cookie banner, and you can decline at any time.

We also use your browser's local storage for a few small, functional values that are not shared with anyone:

• mr-theme: remembers your light or dark mode choice.
• mr-lang: remembers your preferred language.
• mr_cookie_consent: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.

Analytics is provided by Google Analytics, which may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to recognise returning visitors. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf or as part of delivering the site:

• Resend (USA): stores and sends our waitlist emails.
• Google Analytics (Google, USA): measures website usage, only with your consent.
• Google Fonts (Google, USA): the site's fonts load from Google's servers, which means your IP address is shared with Google when the fonts are requested.
• Cloudflare (USA): hosts the website and processes technical connection data to deliver and protect it.
• ipapi.co (USA): determines your country from your IP address so the cookie banner can be shown where required.

International Data Transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU and Swiss US Data Privacy Framework, to ensure an adequate level of protection.

How Long We Keep Your Data

• Waitlist email: until you unsubscribe or we close the list. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
• Analytics data: retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form for a limited period (up to 14 months) and then deleted.
• Technical connection data: kept only for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

Your Rights

Under Swiss and European data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
